Simpli Shaded (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates simplishaded.com. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit this site or contact us, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you use our contact form, call or text us, or request a consultation, we collect what you provide: your name, phone number, ZIP code, email address if you include it, which product you are interested in, and anything you write in the message field. If you become a customer we also collect your service address and the details of your project.
Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) for security and troubleshooting. We use Google Tag Manager and the Meta (Facebook) pixel to measure how our website and advertising perform; these tools set cookies and may collect your IP address, device information and the pages you view.
Cookies. This site uses cookies needed to operate, plus analytics and advertising cookies from Google and Meta as described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, opt out of Google’s ad personalization at adssettings.google.com, and manage Meta ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings.
How we use your information
- To reply to your inquiry, schedule your free in-home consultation and prepare your quote.
- To provide and manage your installation, warranty registration and follow-up service.
- To send you updates about your project and, occasionally, about our products. You can ask us to stop at any time.
- To measure and improve our website and advertising.
- To keep the site secure and prevent spam and abuse.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run this site and our business. They process your information only on our instructions:
- Web hosting and content delivery (hosting.com and Cloudflare), which store and serve this site and its form submissions.
- Contact form (WPForms), which collects and emails your submissions to us.
- Financing (Enhancify). If you use the financing form on our site, the information you enter goes directly to Enhancify and its lending partners under their own privacy policies; we do not receive your credit application.
- Reviews widget (Elfsight), which displays our public Google reviews.
- Maps (Google Maps), which shows our service area on the contact page.
- Analytics and advertising (Google, Meta), as described above.
- Manufacturer (SunPro), which receives the details needed to build your awning or screen and to register your warranty.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it or to protect our rights, property or safety.
How long we keep it
Inquiries are kept for up to 24 months so we can follow up. Customer records are kept for the length of our relationship plus what warranty, accounting and tax rules require. You can ask us to delete your information sooner.
Your choices and rights
You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask us to stop contacting you. Call or text (980) 290-5618, email simplishaded@gmail.com, or use the contact page. If you live in a state with a consumer privacy law, you have the rights that law provides and we will honor verified requests. We will not treat you differently for exercising your privacy rights.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS, access to submissions is limited to the people who need it, and we use reputable providers. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
This site is for homeowners and businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Links to other sites
This site links to other websites, including SunPro, Sunbrella and Enhancify. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new “last updated” date.
