What moves a motorized awning from $3,000 toward $7,000

• Width and projection. SunPro awnings run from 9’6″ to 40′ wide with 8′, 10′ or 12′ projections. A 12-foot awning over a bistro patio costs less than a 24-foot awning over a full deck.
• Fabric. 30 in-stock Sunbrella fabrics are included; over 300 custom Sunbrella patterns are available for more.
• Cassette style. Open-roll, semi-cassette and full-cassette housings protect the fabric to different degrees; full-cassette costs the most.
• Accessories. A wireless wind sensor, wind poles, or front and side drop screens add to the total.
• Mounting. Brick, siding, and roof or soffit mounts take different brackets and labor. A second-story or unusual mount costs more than a standard wall mount.

• Opening size. SunPro screens are built up to 30 feet wide; a wide porch opening costs more than a single doorway.
• Mesh type. Insect mesh, solar mesh, and privacy (blackout) fabric are priced differently.
• Number of openings. A three-sided porch is three screens; each is priced per screen.
• Housing and tracks. Recessed housings and color-matched tracks cost more than surface-mounted standard finishes.
